Mainely Burgers is owned and operated by brothers Jack and Max Barber. Jack is a 2016 graduate of Babson College and Max is entering his senior year at Babson. They and their “Burger Crew,” which until now comprised 25 high school and college students, have worked hard to build and maintain a reputation for positive attitudes, great vibes and quality burgers.

Mainely Burgers earned several notable titles including winning Stonewall Kitchen’s “Battle of the Food Trucks” and Eater’s “Best Burger in Maine Reader Poll” and they were featured on season five of Cooking Channel’s “Eat St.”

Bringing a little Maine to MA
The Central Square restaurant was designed by Cambridge based Caroll Design Studio. Their concept was to honor Mainely Burgers’ roots with reclaimed wooden tables and poplar end cut logs for the walls. Banquettes and countertops were created by Maine Heritage Timber, of Millinocket, Maine, to further add to the Maine atmosphere. Another important design highlight is the mural, created by Adam Danielson, depicting the Mainely Burgers food truck on its route from Maine to Boston, dotted with local landmarks along the way.
